The Ontological-Hysteric Theater is seeking applications and project proposals for its laboratory program Outside/Input from Visual, Media and Audio Artists, Designers, Craftspeople, Performers and Writers who are developing new installation, interactive, or performance works.

The Ontological-Hysteric Theater’s new five-month Outside/Input program provides artists of all kinds from the visual and media to the performance arts with a stimulating laboratory environment in which they can develop and discuss their works, and gain valuable feedback and input from other artists/participants. Outside/Input seeks artists whose projects extend outside the definitions of their elected artistic disciplines to reconfigure and reinvigorate the possibilities for performative art-making. Outside/Input will also provide monthly public presentations in order to engage audiences in the development process. Outside/Input culminates in a final showing/presentation of the participants’ projects. Some participants may be chosen to further develop their projects or performances as participants in the OHT’s Summer Series.
