Playwriting Workshops Sponsored by The Hourglass Group
MFA programs are expensive. Very expensive. Which is why its great that the Flea theater and now the Hourglass Group are offering playwriting workshops with great teachers at affordable prices.
The Hourglass group is sponsoring two workshops: The Playwrights Toolkit, a six week course taught by Aaron Mack Schloff, which aims to help students find their own material and build their plays using the techniques of the worlds greatest playwrights and Proscenium Delirious an intensive weekend workshop led by Ruth Margraff that teaches experimental theatrical forms and approaches. Saturday and Sunday 1-5pm
Nov 6th and 7th
Fee: $200 for 2 sessions
Classes will be held at Barrow Group Studios on 8th Ave and 36th St.
