Geoff Sobelle and Sarah Sanford of Philadelphia’s Pig Iron Theatre will be holding a 16-hour intensive workshop at a TBD Manhattan location on March 5,6,12,13.

People who have taken other Pig Iron workshops have said they were incredibly valuable. This workshop will is called “Generating Material: Inspiration, Improvisation and Composition” and will focus on developing performance skills such as spatial awareness, rhythm, physical character and improvisation and then immediately applying them to the creation of original work. This class is meant to jump-start the creative engine and provide skills for any theatre artist’s ongoing development.
