Since July 15th New York has been host to the Act French festival celebrating French culture and the arts.

November and December will be the “downtown” component of Act French, featuring new experimental work at P.S. 122, The Kitchen, DTW and St. Ann’s Warehouse. (click through the previous link for discount tickets).

Act French Downtown starts Thursday, November 3rd with Alexia Monduit and Thomas Rannou’s Push, a radical post-modern, multimedia deconstruction of the now-classic novel by Sapphire. It is extraordinary work.
