Want to get a preview of Buenos Aires In Translation? Then go to the Open Rehearsal of Federico León‘s EX-Antwone directed by Juan Souki, with Elizabeth Dahmen and Miguel Govea at Abrons Arts Center this Friday, October 13 & Saturday October 14 @ 8:00 pm.

This fall the Abrons Arts Center at Henry Street Settlement has partnered with Performance Space 122 for a series of residencies with some of P.S. 122’s most electrifying artists. Called The Drawing Board Series, it is a chance for cutting-edge theatre and dance artists to develop new projects and present public showings of works-in-progress, followed by conversations between the artists and the audience. The series offers audiences insight into the creative process and provides artists valuable feedback on the development of their work.

BAiT (Buenos Aires in Translation) is an international theatrical collaboration bringing together four of the most dynamic playwrights from Buenos Aires, Argentina (Lola Arias, Federico León, Rafael Spregelburd, and Daniel Veronese) with four U.S.-based directors (Brooke O’Harra with her company The Theatre of a Two-Headed Calf, Jay Scheib, Yana Ross and Juan Souki) to present a repertory program of English language premieres.
