The one you’ve all been waiting for —

Thanks to the support of the National Endowment for the Arts, chashama is able to offer a Performance Development AREA Award which includes a six (6) week term of rehearsal from April 22 – June 3, 2007, a three (3) day tech period in the performance space from June 4 – June 6, 2007 and performance run from June 7 – June 10, 2007 as well as a $1,000 stipend for each awardee that may be used to cover artist fees and materials. chashama will present a fully-produced series of works-in-progress as a culmination of the residency in our black box theater. The rehearsal residency will take place in a chashama rehearsal space. At the end of term, the awardees will be required to attend an exit interview with chashama staff to discuss their process and overall experience.
