Hereby we would like to inform you about the application procedure for
DasArts, Advanced Studies in the Performing Arts, based in Amsterdam.

Application procedure
The upcoming two theme-based blocks will take place during
Semester 27, from September 2007 to 28 February 2008 and
Semester 28, from March 2008 to 31 August 2008

Applications for Semester 27 & Semester 28 should be submitted at

not later than 31 March 2007.

Study details:

A course of study at DasArts consists of participation in four study semesters. A participant will generally take part in two theme-based collective blocks, to be explored in depth by a maximum of fourteen participants and designed and guided by one or more mentors. Each thematic block last 12 weeks within one study semester. The semester continues after the thematic block and ends with a creative response to the theme.

During the third semester the participants start their own period of research in an ‘Individual Trajectory’. In the fourth semester the DasArts participants work on their ‘Final Project’ and create a final presentation at a theatre or other (art)institution. Participants in general are guided by the artistic staff as well as by a varying group of artistic advisors.
