How does the emerging reality of human-machine relationships affect our understanding of ourselves? This panel, moderated by Sherry Turkle, MIT Initiative on Technology and Self, will consider this question and the role of art in articulating issues around it. Panelists Aaron Edsinger and Lijin Aryananda, MIT researchers, and artist Pia Lindman will discuss their collaboration.

Following the presentation, Sherry Turkle will sign copies of her new book, Evocative Objects, as well as earlier titles, Life on the Screen, and the 20th anniversary edition of The Second Self.
