3LD is looking for artists making cutting edge, hybrid theater, dance, performance and installation work, who are taking risks and want to work with technology to be a part of their EARLY DEVELOPMENT ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM.

This program is for groups with budgets of between 5K and 25K. The selection cycle for Fall of 2008 ends on October 1, 2007 – so please get your applications in ASAP! 3-4 artists will be chosen per season. Residents receive 24/7 access to 3LD’s Studio C for the time of their occupancy period. Studio C is a 21W x 21L x 12H stage space with an additional fixed 50 seat house with a full compliment of Lighting, Sound, Video and Computer Equipment. Studio C artists will be given residencies between 4 and 6 weeks @ a cost of $700 per week to the artist. Each group will manage their own box office through 3LD’s account at TheaterMania and will retain all earnings from any public showings. Studio C resident artists also receive free participation in 3LD’s Mentorship and Artist Professional Development Training Programs.
