Curated by Young Jean Lee, featuring Radiohole, Joseph Silovsky, and
the National Theater of the United States of America. Radiohole
presents a work in progress exploring the fringes of the American
mystic-religious experience through a juxtaposition of figures such
as 19th-century hatchet wielding temperance crusader Carry A. Nation
and early 70s cult leader Mel Lyman. A world of baroque psychedelia
will be created using Post-It Notes, licorice, a 5-inch video monitor
and Radiohole’s sonic secret weapon, the Audio Spotlight.

Joseph Silovsky’s the Jester of Tonga is part travelogue, part
history about the last true monarchy in the world, the Kingdom of
Tonga. He uses puppets, a robot, live video dioramas, a southern-
facing chariot and a 1:1 scale map to tell the tale of the only
living jester in the world, his volatile relationship with the
country of Tonga, and Silovsky’s own experiences investigating the
story.

The National Theater of the United States of America presents Lecture
#Zero. In uncharacteristic seriousness, they perform a demonstration
of one their most famous lectures. Prepare to be bored.
