Benefit for Chuck-Bob
Hi All – I just got the following e-mail from Tom Burnett of NYC’s own original puppet-rock legends Uncle Jimmy’s Dirty Basement. If you’ve ever enjoyed the raucous good times and tunes of James Godwin and his bunch of merry puppet-wielding troublemakers, you’ll have a soft-spot in your heart for the partly perverted but ever-lovable Chuck-Bob. Well, Chuck-Bob needs your help:
Dear Basement Fans,
We are putting on a benefit show for our beloved John Pavlik (aka Chuck Bob). John has been battling pancreatic cancer for the last year and we’d like to ask you to help him put a dent in mounting medical bills by coming to our show at the Bowery Poetry Club. We will be rawkin out big time, surprise guests, and much fun.
