okay so just a quick one about this whole term limits thing. bloomberg and the city council just really shouldn’t do this. even giuliani didn’t end up extending his mayoralty after 9/11. if bloomberg really wants to help, then maybe he can create some special advisory position for himself, or maybe the next mayor can appoint bloomberg special advisor of big money stuff. But overturning term limits is like saying, “voters? we don’t need no stinking voters!”

one of these days the movie about the last election (in which i ran for mayor) will be released and people can see how incredibly complicated and expensive it is to run for mayor in nyc. the system is already practically rigged as it is.
