A week or so ago I was invited to interview artist Carrie Mae Weems on the set of her new art/film project, Refractions, a collaboration with jazz artist Geri Allen. I could try and write it up for you – these are two wonderful, warm, dynamic, creative women – but fortunately Ermanno De Biagi was shooting film and captured the spirit of it nicely.
