Jesse Bernstein Film to Be Shown at MoMA

Was just checking out the blog Another Bouncing Ball that had a post on Jesse Bernstein. Jesse’s work loomed large over Seattle in the early 90’s and he was, posthumously, a big influence on me when I was still writing poetry and making spoken word sound collage type stuff. We both had tracks on the Home Alive album. Anyway – Peter Sillen’s recently completed documentary on Bernstein, I Am Secretly An Important Man, opens at The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in North Carolina on Friday. It will screen as part of a Creative Capital film festival at the Museum of Modern Art on May 15 & 27. I look forward to checking it out. Here’s some Jesse for you:
