The Abrons Arts Center is proud to present a sassy fall season of modern performance, cabaret, dance, and theater. Joey Arias crafts his first theatrical spectacular since the highly celebrated Arias with a Twist, and downtown diva Ann Magnuson returns to her roots in a musical battle with Adam Dugas. Internationally renowned choreographer Jonah Bokaer and architecture firm Harrison Atelier reimagine Greek mythology in the U.S. premiere of Anchises, and Karole Armitage offers a free performance of the seminal and anarchic Drastic-Classicism. Richard Maxwell’s New York City Players make their Abrons debut with a tale about the loss of love and vision, and Justin Bond returns to make your yuletide gay. These inestimable performers — and many more — defy categorization with their thoughtful and challenging narratives on the Abrons stage.
