Bushwick Starr Announces 2010-2011 Season

The Bushwick Starr just announced its first full season of programming. With work from Witness Relocation, 31 Down, Half Straddle and Two-Headed Calf it looks like an auspicious debut!

Artistic Director, Noel Allain, and Managing Director, Sue Kessler, have created an exciting and powerful line-up for The Bushwick Starr’s first official full performance season:

“We wanted to focus our premier season on diverse, cutting-edge new work by selected artists that we’re excited about. We also wanted to curate programming that appeals to both the downtown theater scene as well as our community here in Bushwick. We serve as both a destination for theater-goers in the greater NYC area, as well as a neighborhood arts hub, so we felt energized to create a well-rounded season that reflects our broad audience. Our goal is to bring people together under one roof, united within the context of art, and help build connections for artists and theatergoers within our community.”
