Stephen Petronio “Intravenous Lecture” at TEDMED

Early this season (or late last season I guess) I saw Stephen Petronio at The Joyce. One of the most remarkable parts (other than the extraordinary solo he created for Wendy Whelan) was his version of Steve Paxton’s “Intravenous Lecture”. Watch especially the first 5-7 minutes where he explains the history of post-modern dance by, well, dancing it. Beautiful and amazing.
