SUBMISSIONS
Culturebot is always looking for good writing with new ideas and interesting perspectives.
Culturebot doesn’t publish reviews. We prioritize previews, interviews and points of view. While we’re still developing a unified framework of “best practices” for post-performance critical responses, please refer to the essay “Re-Framing the Critic For The 21st Century: Dramaturgy, Advocacy & Engagement” for our perspective on what makes thoughtful critical writing.
If you have an idea for a story that you’d like to write or you have an existing essay, article, interview, manifesto, video, podcast, infographic or some other bit of content you’d like to publish, we encourage you to submit it for consideration.
Please send your proposal with a resume, CV or bio (and work samples if you have them) to editors[at]culturebot[dot]org. While Culturebot.org will occasionally commission articles, we are unable to pay writers for unsolicited submissions. That being said, submitting is the best way for us to get to know you and your voice and then be considered for commissioned writing in the future.
