chashama will be presenting two unique dance festivals this July!

Our hallmark Oasis Festival will take place M-F, July 16-27, at 217 East 42nd Street. Oasis is an 11 year-old annual festival of free performance which provides opportunities for established and emerging artists to showcase their work to audiences who might not otherwise be exposed to art in a casual setting in midtown.

We are also happy to be report that the second annual Site-Specific Sundays, presented in association with Summer on the Hudson @ Riverside Park South, will happen again at Red Shade Plaza, along the Hudson River. Four companies or individual artists will be selected to create site-specific outdoor performance. Each company or artist will be assigned one of the following four Sundays in July: 8, 15, 22, and 29. Performances will take place at 3PM and 5PM.
