Audrey Lane Ellis earned B.A. degrees in Dance and Philosophy from Goucher College in 2006. Since then she has performed with various NYC-based dance companies in the New York City area and beyond. She has both choreographed and directed operas, as well as musical theater projects and is a dance Critic for The L Magazine and Brooklyn Magazine. After finishing her Master's degree in Philosophy and Art in 2009, Audrey co-founded dance company a+s works. She is pursuing her PhD in Philosophy at Stony Brook University and is a Guest Faculty member at Mark Morris Dance Group. She teaches contemporary dance technique and philosophy at Stony Brook University as well.
