Open Source and blogs have proved to be successful as the second degree of scrutiny in the ecosystem of news. Will Videobloggers be able to do more: depart from the existing mainstream infotainment matrix and create new formats and new discourse?

A number of examples of new and creative use of video on the Internet by videobloggers, artists, video producers and journalists will be presented. Examples include recent conference of deoblogers in NY: Vloggercon, Dylan Verdi, the Youngest Videoblogger in The World, linuxvirgin project and Concrete TV.
