What are you doing on Thursday? Sitting around watchin’ TV? Bad idea. You could be at DECADANCE, a benefit for the newly-homeless Collective:Unconscious!

It runs from 7 p.m.-Midnight with performances by The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Karen Finley, Neal Medlyn and Julie Atlas Muz. Electrified dessert featuring Gecko, Jamie Mereness and a Tesla Coil. Installation by Mikon Hall of Worlds and Music by The Departure Lounge. EditrixAbby will be your erotic art auctioneer which is sponsored by Art @ Large.

Its going to be a lot of fun and will help raise money for Collective: Unconscious to build a new performance venue for the 21st century and their programs in exile. For those few of you unfamiliar with Collective: Unconscious – it fosters an inclusive creative community and serves as a launching pad for emerging artists in New York City. They’re an all volunteer organization, so come and help out.
