i-mob

Editor’s Note: Katherine Steinberg is a writer based in New York.

Get your mob mentality on, well, for half an hour at least, during The mp3
Experiment at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater. The crowd will gather
and simultaneously listen to an mp3 track on their individual mp3 players.
The track is a mixture of music and instructions which will create a
production that is entirely based on audience participation. It’s your one
chance to use your ipod as a way to actually connect to people! Check out
the website for all the logistical information as well as some fun facts
about the theater, the director and the inspiration for the experiment.
