I have gotten independent confirmation that in Episode #208 “Loyal” Elena Peabody’s ex-lover is explaining to Bette (Jennifer Beales) that “my first play had just debuted at P.S. 122 when in walked Elena Peabody [lesbian director of a big arts foundation] and underwrites the entire season”.
