Melissa Is A Bitch

Okay. We get a lot of kooky postcards and invitations here at the culturebot offices, but Ann Liv Young’s dance company benefit card caught our eye for its, um, forthrightness.

We have never seen their work and have no idea what it’s like. But I’ve got to give them indie street credibility for trying to raise enough money to go to Vienna and perform a piece called “Melissa Is A Bitch”. And for having a benefit in which alcohol will be sold, with specialty drinks named after each performer, hand stirred by their naked bodies.

It almost makes you overlook the poor spelling.
