is looking for volunteers to perform
THE RISING TIDE PARADE
a procession through Lower Manhattan for the opening of the Summer, 2006 River to River Festival
we need you! to march, dance, and carry puppets and flags representing a host of global rivers, riverboats and giant transforming structures
WHEN & WHERE?
rehearsals (in the GSW Studio, 55 Washington St., #415) are
Monday, May 29 – 12-5pm
Wednesday, May 31, 7-10pm
and the day of the parade (in Robert F. Wagner Park, Battery Park City)
Thursday, June 1st, 9-11:30am
the Parade will take place 12-2pm, beginning at Robert F. Wagner Park in the South end of Battery Park City, and ending at the South Street Seaport, with a party on one of the historic boats (to which all performers will be invited, courtesty of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.)
CAN’T COME TO ALL THREE REHEARSALS? THAT’S OKAY! COME TO AT LEAST ONE!
