Audition for St. Joan of the Stockyards

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Studio 42 in association with Stillpoint Productions will be holding
auditions next Sunday and Monday, Oct. 15-16 for the title role of
SAINT JOAN for their AEA showcase production of SAINT JOAN OF THE
STOCKYARDS. The 2007 production will be preceded by a two week
workshop this November.

Acclaimed creator/director Lear deBessonet brings her trademark
innovation to Brecht’s savage masterpiece. Set in the richly imagined
world of 1920’s Chicago and featuring an especially commissioned
original score, intrepid St. Joan and her Slaughterhouse King weave a
cautionary tale for the 21st Century. Can youth, hope and faith
survive in a world of greed and corruption?
