Well on Wednesday, June 6 from 6-9PM The Chocolate Factory (www.chocolatefactorytheater.org) will hold its 2nd Annual Taste of LIC, a celebration of Long Island City’s cultural and culinary offerings, to benefit the Chocolate Factory’s annual theater, dance, music and visual art programming. Taste of LIC will feature food from the best LIC establishments including Bella Via, Brasil Coffee House, Cafe Henri, Communitea, The Creek And The Cave, Domaine Bar A Vins, Dominie’s Hoek, Dorian Café, Jackson Avenue Steakhouse, Junior’s Cheesecake, Lounge 47, Manetta’s Ristorante, Mario’s Deli, Masso, McReilly’s Pub & Restaurant, Tournesol, Tuk Tuk, Water’s Edge, and Water Taxi Beach; beer and soda courtesy of Manhattan Beer Distributors; and wine tasting courtesy of Hunters Point Wine & Spirits, Vernon Wine & Liquor, and Vine Wine. The evening will also feature dozens of auction and raffle prizes; an exhibition of paintings by Chocolate Factory Gallery curator Patrick Neal; and performance highlights from the Factory’s 06-07 season including Tara O’Con, Pele Bauch, Chase Granoff & Jon Moniaci, and Red Metal Mailbox.
