Tom Swirly’s Psych-o-delic Circus

Sometimes an event comes along that seems so cool and out-there that I don’t want to post it because it’ll sell out and I won’t get in. This is one of them.

Once a week, the weirdos come out to play in New York City’s East
Village.  And once a year, they lose control.

Tom Swirly’s Psych-o-delic Circus, the successful music and variety show
held every Monday night in Cave Canem, at 24 First Avenue, is bringing
the year to a close with a Yuletide extravaganza of music, magic, lights
and explosions.

At 8PM sharp on December 17, the doors will open to reveal our wonders.

On the bill:

* Gibby Haynes
* Tom Swirly
* Joshua Fried’s RADIO WONDERLAND
* Tristan Perich’s One Bit Music
* Dawoud
* Drowned In Drones
* Maya Sky
* Kid Lucky

Featuring The Illusionary Dancers:

* Amy Uzi
* Faux Maux
* Valmonte Sprout

And Tom Swirly says, “I’ve pulled out all the stops for this show.  I’ve
gathered stunning magical illusions from England, Canada and the US that
will literally leave you doubting the evidence of your senses, a unique
‘visual effects device’ from Australia that will delight and disorient
you, and propulsives and props from New Jersey that will startle and
enlighten you.  Treats, costumes, confetti and pranks!

A steal at $5!! Festivities will start at 8PM promptly.  Gibby is not
the last act and this show is likely to sell out — arrive early to
avoid disappointment.”
