Photo-Electric examines the role of new media as a vehicle, enabling artists to represent their own version of reality and expand the visual possibilities of their work. Utilizing photography in a postmodern sense as a base upon which to create their own unique and exacting visions, these artists challenge the medium’s current boundaries. The show features AES + F, Janet Biggs, The Black Estate, Julie Blackmon, Noah Fischer, Harri Larjosto, Stephanie Lempert, and Matthew Sleeth.
