Mark your calendar now! Time Out’s intrepid theater editor DAVID COTE will have a a one-night-only concert presentation of his 30-minute opera FADE on Friday, July 17 at 8pm (doors open at 7) at Galapagos in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Davidcreated FADE last year with composer Stefan Weisman and it premiered last October in London. For this NYC premiere, they have a first-rate cast and Cote directs. FADE is on a triple bill with Opera On Tap and composer David T. Little. Should be an excellent night of new opera in an informal setting. Come for the Jagermeister, stay for the arias!
