theatermania launches iPhone app

theatermania, one of the largest ticketing services in the country, used by lots of downtown theaters, just launched an iPhone app! I downloaded it to my phone and am trying it out.  will let you know what I think. so far it is interesting – there’s a “shows near me” function which could prove useful. it doesn’t have “Search” though – which means even if you know what you’re looking for it might be hard to find. Unless your show starts with a numeral or an “A”.  you can buy tix right from your phone, though, which is cool. and it looks like they’re offering discount codes. Fun stuff.
