25 Years at BAM: An Evening with Joe Melillo

On Monday Monday, May 17 at 6:30 pm join the Segal Center for an evening of celebration and conversation with Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Mr. Melillo, a panel of renowned guest artists from many disciplines (including composer David Lang, curator Dan Cameron, choreographer Susan Marshall, and The Builders Association’s Marianne Weems) and moderator RoseLee Goldberg of Performa will look back on 25 historic years of curatorial and producing work at BAM and peek into the future of this extraordinary New York institution. Panel at 6:30pm.

The documentaries Einstein on the Beach: The Changing Image of Opera (on the landmark opera by Robert Wilson and Philip Glass) and BAM! BAM! BAM! Catching the Next Wave for 20 Years (Matthew Yokobosky) will also be screened at 3:00pm.
