The Perth International Arts Festival is Western Australia’s premier cultural event with a worldwide reputation for presenting an outstanding annual multi-arts program of the highest international quality. Founded in 1953 by The University of Western Australia, the Perth Festival enjoys the largest ticket buying audience of any international arts festival in Australia. The University of Western Australia and the Festival Board are seeking to replace the Festival’s current Artistic Director, whose four year term ends in March 2011.
