We’ve been negligent in reminding you that hallowed New York performer (and current L.A. Woman) Ann Magnuson is appearing at Joe’s Pub to celebrate the release of her new CD, “Pretty Songs & Ugly Stories.” According to the Pub:

Her first collection of all-new musical material since her Geffen release “The Luv Show”, the album is a swirling confection of Baroque Pop and psycho-sexual angst sprinkled with sly wit and hard-won wisdom.

She’ll be supported by producer/collaborator Kristian Hoffman and the venerable — and versatile — Loser’s Lounge Band.
