In conjunction with Contact Theatre Manchester, UK and La MaMa E.T.C., our pals at Culturehub will present Digital Duets – a celebration of dance improvisation that uses telepresence technology to connect dancers, musicians, visualists and spoken word artists in real time. Collapsing distance and allowing for spontaneous real time collaborations across networked environments, performers at La MaMa in New York and Contact Theatre in the UK will create a new piece inspired by DAWN CRANDELL’S MIXED MOVEMENT.
