Astronome and Nayland Blake

Just a quick one from the Apple Store.

My friend Tobaron and I went to OHT to see Foreman and Zorn’s ASTRONOME. My fave Foreman in a long time. Zorn’s music is like crazy psychedelic death metal and makes a perfect score for Foreman’s surreal mystical junkyard of the mind. Knife fights, severed heads, humongous strawberry hats, oversized nasal mining and slug puppets galore. Good times!

Then we headed down to Location One for a tribute to Nayland Blake. It was fun – we missed the first part – but I ran into some old friends from all different walks of life and, generally, enjoyed the good vibes and energy of an old-fashioned downtown avant-garde birthday party.

Busy week coming up – hope to see you there!
