On May 21-22, 2010 at 8PM The Chocolate Factory will host their first solo international commission, The Work The Work by Irish duo Fitzgerald & Stapleton (Emma Fitzgerald and Aine Stapleton). According to the website:

The Work The Work debates the interplay of individuality, power, capitalism and gender within current Irish society. Throughout the performance the artists negotiate a choreographic score written by Fitzgerald & Stapleton, designed to support and challenge each artists’ moment to moment relationship with the audience, stage environment and each other. The choreographers write themselves into impossible situations in order to transcend any aesthetic predilections that might narrow their ability to celebrate the here and now of being alive.
