tesla the coil, not the band

Before Tesla was a lame hair band, there was the eccentric genius scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. His life was the subject of a cool play called Requiem for Tesla by the Austin, TX theater company Rude Mechanicals and now Tesla’s flashiest invention, the Tesla Coil is on display in the Collective:Unconscious performance spectular, Tesla Mania.

Feast your eyes on electric mayhem. Smell the fresh scent of ozone, as bolts of electricity burst forth form the Tesla coil. Be amazed at high voltage experiments!! Be prepared to go on a journey as we travel through time, to conjure up the spirit of Nikola Tesla. Celebrate the life of the greatest inventor of our time Nikola Tesla in Collective’s ongoing monthly tribute to the forgotten genius.
